There is a new indoor play option in Northwest Houston!
A Bunch of Fun is an indoor play and learning center located near Barker Cypress and 529. ABOF is geared towards kiddos 5 and under.
Kids can explore, create, pretend, problem solve, and learn valuable skills all in one spacious, safe, and clean play area. It's not just entertainment, its edutainment, customized just for kids, with plenty of options for parents, too.
The 6,000 square-foot play center boasts a playhouse, slides, large sand box, manipulative toys, and imagination-inspiring play areas for children, as well as a snack bar and a comfy area with TVs and WiFi for the adults. Our wide variety of creative and education enrichment classes make learning fun and our open play area allows kids to frolic freely and independently, while staying safe and parent supervised.
For celebrations, such as birthdays and other special occasions, A Bunch of Fun has party rooms and a trained staff ready to host and provide anything a child could want and need for a fun and successful celebration, from goodie bags to cake and ice cream. The best part is that it takes the stress off the parents so they can sit back and relax.
A friend visited today and L-O-V-E-D it. Super clean and lots to do! She mentioned that older siblings can play the playstation but their goal is to keep it safe for little guys, 5ish and under.

Painting With A Twist
Looking for a fun evening out while creating your own masterpiece?
Painting With A Twist just arrived to the Cypress area. You can go alone or grab a friend or two, your favorite bottle of wine or beverage, and paint a picture along with a local artist.
They provide your paint, canvas and brushes and you'll have a fun evening with friends. Plus, at the end of the evening, you’ll have a one-of-a-kind creation and, hopefully, a newfound talent you'll want to explore!
Think it'll be too hard? Their instructor will guide you through each step of recreating the featured picture, and you'll have painlessly created a piece of art before you know it.
There are no commitments, and their calendar offers what masterpieces are options to create.

Black Leather and Pink Satin Jackets
Last week my top news source, Yahoo.com, revealed to me that Top Gun was released 24 years ago.
What you talkin' 'bout, Willis?
HOW is that possible?
My bratty brother-in-law informed me he was 4 at the time.
I hope he can feel the stink-eye I am giving him all the way from H'town to Germany.
Punk.
And just like I can remember where and when I saw Maverick, Goose, Slider and Ice Man play that famous sand volleyball scene, particular music has the same effect.
Music is a great marker for memories of our lives.
I'm going to out myself by saying that sometimes the dial on my radio somehow arrives on Sunny 99.1 and when I hear a Chicago song, it takes me back to slow dancin' in the gym of my Junior High School.
Arms extended, hands on each other's shoulders (we kept it PG back then) and feet moving side to side, side to side.
I'm quite sure I was workin' some amazing hair....big bangs and Sun In, baby!
But just as High School Music captured a generation of kids a few years back, our soundtrack was Grease.
It was the word, after all.
Brace yourself..... there is something coming you are going to just L-O-V-E, LOVE.
Girls, there is going to be a Grease Sing-A-Long.
It's true!
Here's the catch.
One night only....July 25th....and limited release.
But here's the problem. One VERY important city is missing.
H'town.
Dallas got the love. Austin got the love. We need Summer Lovin' too!
Visit Grease Sing-A-Long and there is a special spot that you can click on to add Houston.
I feel a girls' night out comin'!
